Government Budgeting Software Company, ClearGov, Achieves 500 Customer Milestone, Continues To Accelerate

Maynard, MA – Leading cloud-based government budgeting software company, ClearGov, recently surpassed 500 customers and continues to grow rapidly. In each of the last two years, the company’s revenue has more than doubled, generating 112.5% annual recurring revenue growth (ARR) year-over-year. 

This quick growth is fueled by the ongoing expansion of the company’s Budget Cycle Management suite, which includes Capital Budgeting, Personnel Budgeting, Operational Budgeting, Digital Budget Book, and Transparency.

Thirty percent of ClearGov’s 500 customers are GFOA Distinguished Budget Award winners – and of those winners, 86% of them use the company’s Digital Budget Book solution. The GFOA’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award criteria was built into ClearGov’s Digital Budget Book framework along with an easy-to-follow checklist so that governments can confidently submit their budget book for award consideration. 

Additionally, ClearGov Capital Budgeting launched in the summer of 2021, and was quickly embraced by local governments for its ease of use and ability to produce multi-year, multi-scenario plans to help organizations find the optimal balance of capital funds. The solution surpassed 100 customers in November, driven by its unique feature set and the need of local governments to manage funding from both the American Rescue Plan Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
