ClearGov Named Preferred Budgeting Solution for New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC)

Strategic Partnership New York State Assoc Counties

MAYNARD, MA – ClearGov, a leader in local government cloud-native Budget Cycle Management software, has been recognized as the preferred budgeting solution for the New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC).

New York State Association of Counties’ mission is to foster excellence in county government and unite the voice of New York’s county leaders. NYSAC represents New York’s 62 counties and educates, trains and provides public policy research to officials and members on issues important to counties. They have become the “Official Voice” of all counties, large and small. This voice influences federal and state policy in ways that benefit counties and the New Yorkers they all serve.

One way NYSAC supports counties is by researching and recommending cost-savings and value-added solutions that improve efficiency — which is precisely what ClearGov delivers.

The ClearGov Budget Cycle Management suite offers everything a local government needs to collect, create, and communicate a budget. The suite of integrated products automates and simplifies the budgeting process, eliminates spreadsheets and manual steps, and saves county governments countless hours during the annual budgeting process.

Ten of New York’s county governments already use ClearGov’s budget solutions, and several more are in active discussions.

ClearGov is already the preferred budgeting solution for The National Association of Counties (NACo) Financial Services Corporation through an exclusive partnership that was established in January 2022. This new  partnership with NYSAC will provide additional awareness and educational opportunities focused specifically towards New York’s counties.

“As county budgets become more and more complex, our members are looking for new ways to improve efficiency and financial transparency. We are pleased to work with ClearGov, which has a complete suite of budgeting software that is affordable, easy to use, and brings a clear and simple way to communicate financial data to the public,” said Stephen J. Acquario, NYSAC Executive Director.

“County finance teams strive to make complex financial data accessible to every community member. And, building the annual budget and delivering it in an easy-to-understand format is an enormous job. At ClearGov, our mission is to help local governments of all sizes budget better through easy-to-use, collaborative software that saves them time — time they can reallocate to other critical community priorities,” said Bryan Burdick, President of ClearGov.
